Rice University’s Research Computing Support group has been a Red Hat shop in the university HPC environment for some time. Balancing the group’s need for Red Hat Enterprise Linux’s stability and support with the tight budgets of a university IT department and the varied user user demands has been a challenge, both up and down the management chain. All in all, Rice University has attained a great level of success with Red Hat. Join this session to learn about its story.
