In this session, Girish Gopal from Intel will provide an overview of OpenStack, covering the project goals, the foundation, and the architecture. Intel is a gold member of the OpenStack Foundation and a top contributor to the OpenStack project. In this session, Girish will:

• Discuss Intel’s contributions to OpenStack spanning compute, storage, and networking
• Cover Intel’s Trusted Compute Pools solution enabled in OpenStack, which provides the ability to verify the trustworthiness of servers for deploying sensitive workloads
• Touch on Intel’s partnership with Red Hat to provide Trusted Compute Pools for customers
• Provide guidance to developers for building cloud applications
• Wrap up with a review of how Intel IT is pursuing OpenStack to realize an open datacenter vision
