The Summit and JBoss World team is really excited about the addition of a blog to our site this year. Why? Well for one, we can instantly update you with event information. And second, it gives us a place to have fun and feature content-rich updates about the world of open source.
So what will you find on this blog? It’s really up to you. Tell us what you like and don’t like to read about by tweeting at us (@redhatsummit). Until we hear from you, we’ll post updates like:
- Q+A’s with our keynotes
- Interviews with our session leaders
- Tips and tricks for the technical folks
- Community updates for the open source fans
- Business blogs for the c-levels
- Dare we say contests?
What won’t you find? We’re going to keep this a “marketing-free” zone. We’ll avoid such words as “bandwidth” or “TCO” or “50,000 foot view”. Check out the rest of the site if you’re looking to play marketing bingo.
So the sales-pitch stuff is out, but fair warning — we’ll remind you when the early bird and advanced discounts are about to close, because we truly believe this is the best open source event out there, and we want you to get a great deal on registration.
We’ll leave it at that. Happy reading! We look forward to continuing the conversation at the events in June.
